Maldives Suspends Indian Tourist From April 27

ollywood's  favourite holiday destination Maldives has suspended Indian tourists from April 27 due to pandemic. Cases of covid-19 keep rising in India and staying at tourist facilities in inhabited islands.

Maldives has imposed suspension on Indian tourists, similar restrictions have also been imposed by some countries like Saudi Arabia, UAE, UK, Canada, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Pakistan, France, Oman and Kuwait as well. However, the US advised to its citizens to avoid travel in India, either they are fully vaccinated or single dose vaccinated but  they avoid as India is a 'very high level' of COVID-19 cases.

The Ministry of Tourism said that , "With effect from 27 April  @HPA_mv  suspends tourists travelling from #India to #Maldives from staying at tourist facilities in inhabited islands. We thank you for the support in our endeavor to make tourism safest possible with minimum inconvenience."

Maldives had been a favourite destination for many of B-Town's young faces as well as for Indians, with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor being its most recent visitors and most of the people had visited Since the pandemic began.

Data stood With 3,52,991 cases contracted with positive for coronavirus infection in a day, the highest so far, India's total data of COVID-19 cases has climbed day by day and nearly to 1,73,13,163 while active fresh cases have across 28-lakh mark, as per the Union Health Ministry data showed on Monday.
