harkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday has launched ''Sanjeevani Vehicles'' oxygen trucks to rush to any hospital in state capital Ranchi in case of an SOS. Similar vehicles are planned to be deployed at other districts including Dhanbad and Jamshedpur. Every ''Sanjeevani vehicles”will be filled up by a load of oxygen cylinders, which will play an important role when needed .

In a statement Hemant Soren says seeing the situation getting worse due to shortage of oxygen from many hospitals in Ranchi, Sanjeevani Vaahan is launched to fulfill the need of oxygen in every hospital 24/7 It will be loaded with oxygen cylinders and wherever there is any scarcity, it will rush there and fulfill the requirement. Moreover, in Sanjeevani, the tracking program is included through GPS. Besides beds can be booked in advance by just dialing 104 and free of cost for a serious infected person

Meanwhile, Jharkhand-based steel plants have also supplied oxygen to various states in the pandemic, Included Domestic giant Tata Steel has supplied liquid medical oxygen (LMO) to 800 tonnes per day from its plants in Jamshedpur, while SAIL through its arm in Bokaro is pumping oxygen to the states that are facing an acute shortage.

In addition, Tata Steel is playing a major role in currently supplying 800 tonnes per day of LMO in several nation-states and health center, through assembling part in Jharkhand Odisha in some state in providing liquid medical oxygen to nearby states from Jharkhand states like Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, and Odisha, among others.
