24 Covid-19 Patients Die Due To Shortage Of Oxygen In Karnataka

n Karnataka, as many as 24 Covid patients died in the last 24 hours due to shortage of oxygen in Chamarajanagar's government hospital allegedly ran out of medical oxygen. Deputy Commissioner of Chamarajanagar Dr MR Ravi stated about the hospital that it is yet to be ascertained whether the patients died from shortage of oxygen aids. “We can’t say whether all have died due to lack of oxygen,” The family members of paitents deceased have staged a protest for demanding action against the officials in front of the hospital.

Chief Minister of Karnataka led B S Yediyurappa stated that he has spoken to Chamarajanagar district commissioner for the same concern and has also hold an emergency Cabinet meeting on Tuesday evening for discusion and will take an immediate action for the same.

Moreover Minister for Primary and Secondary Education Suresh Kumar allegedly that “I have asked the administration for a detailed report on the exact reason for the death. If any negligence is found guilty he will face strict action.” has also sought a detailed report from the administration.
