ising Covid-19 cases has led to a scarcity of resources, medical equipment, medicines, treatment, beds, availability of hospitals and chaos. Meanwhile, legendary Singer Lata Mangeshkar has donated Rupees 7 Lakh to the Maharashtra Chief Minister relief fund for Covid-19. 

Whereas Maharashtra Chief Minister, Uddhav Thackrey has expressed his gratitude to the singer for her gesture to help towards Covid-19. The Chief Minister also appealed to people to contribute whatever they can for the Covid-19 war and the ongoing free vaccination drive for 18 to 44 age which starts today.

Last week, Actor Ayushmann Khurrana and his wife Tahira Kashyap had also contributed to the Maharashtra CM relief fund. The actor had also said that he has been doing every possible thing to help the people who are in need. Meanwhile, several other Bollywood celebrities have also stepped up and have been actively involved in helping those who need help. Whereas Salman Khan came up and he has started his food truck to distribute food packets among the Frontline workers in Mumbai, Akshay Kumar contributed to Gautam Gambhir Foundation to help in the fight against covid-19 in Delhi. Gurmeet Choudhary has pledged to open a 1000 bed Hospital in Lucknow and Patna.
