Punjab makes Negative RT-PCR or Covid-19 vaccination certificate compulsory for entry in the state

ue to Covid-19, the Punjab Government has implemented strict restrictions for the state as well as travelers. On Sunday, the Punjab Government said that nobody would be allowed to enter the state without a Negative RT-PCR report or Covid-19 vaccine certificate (over two weeks old). 

Talking about the restrictions in the states, all non-essential shops will remain closed till 15th May. Government banks will run with only 50 per cent of the capacity, travellers with four-wheelers including cars and taxis,won't be allowed to have more than two passengers. No gatherings for more than 10 people allowed in marriage as well as last rites. Cinema, bars, halls and gyms to be kept closed. Restaurants,dhabas, Cafe, coffee shops, coaching centre, sports complex to be closed.

Meanwhile, vehicles carrying patients to the hospital will be exempted. Daily night curfew will begin from 6 pm to 5 am and weekend curfew from 6 pm Friday till 5 am Monday

Punjab's overall case has reached.to 3,85,27p of which 9,317 have succumbed to infection and 60,108 are the active cases.
