ccording to official data, Mumbai on Monday recorded 2,624 new Covid-19 cases in 24 hours and this is the lowest one day spike. The number of Covid-19 tests also saw a sharp dip from a daily average of 50,000 to 38,00p on Sunday. The city's death count stands at 13,372 with 78 deaths being reported in 24 hours.

Last month, Mumbai was among the worst-hit cities in the country, where Covid-19 cases were on an extreme rise. Maharashtra had been reporting over 60,000 Covid-19 cases daily in the previous month and has now logged 48,621 cases. Talking about recovery?
