hile the National Capital is gasping for oxygen and insufficient beds at hospitals, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan, well known as BigB, has once again lent a helping hand.

Bollywood Superstar donated Rs 2 crore to Covid care facility at Rakab Ganj Gurdwara in Delhi which will open from Monday said Manjinder Singh Sirsa, President of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee. He also mentioned words of Mr Bachchan, "Sikhs are legendary, salute to their service."

Mr Sirsa added the actor made sure that oxygen concentrators from abroad reached the Covid care centre. He said, "While Delhi is grappling for oxygen, Amitabh Ji called me almost daily to enquire about the progress of this facility."

Around 300 beds will be available at Rakab Ganj Gurdwara from Monday. All the basic facilities including oxygen concentrators, doctors, paramedics and ambulances will be available at the centre free of cost.
