Nashik extends lockdown for 10 days, from 12 May till 22 May

ovid-19 cases are increasing gradually and Nashik has extended its lockdown for 10 days. This lockdown has been announced by the authorities of Nashik and it will commence from 12th May and end on  22 May. During the lockdown, All the essential services including medical store, hospital and other services will continue as same as earlier. Meanwhile on Sunday Nashik witnessed around 48 deaths of Covid-19 patients in the city. The Maharashtra city has been reporting over 4,00 positive cases daily. Whereas Maharashtra imposed a lockdown after which it was extended till 15th May. 

Local lockdown in districts like Latur, Solapur has been imposed and curbs tightened in Amravati, Akola, Yavatmal and Nashik is the first city to extend its lockdown beyond 15 May

According to PTI, Maharashtra reached 3,56,084 the with 3,002 Bew Covid-19 cases and 40 deaths, and 3,025 people have  been recovered
