ormer PM of India Dr. Manmohan Singh has taken vaccine doses of Covaxin. The first was injected on March 4 and the second  injected on April 3 according to sources he was shifted to hospital as "a matter of precaution".

Mr.Singh is 88 years old, he has tested positive for Corona virus and been admitted to the Trauma Centre of Delhi's AIIMS, as per the sources. The veteran Congress leader, who was administered a Covid test after registering a fever, earlier admitted at around 5 pm for the safety purpose and also providing health infrastructure.

Mr. Singh wrote to PM Modi and addressed to offer some advice on handling a touch situation of pandemic that has infected over 1.5 crore cases of Indians and  nearly 1.8 lakh died due to corona virus. Dr Singh also plead the Centre to place an "enough" vaccine orders in advance for the people vaccinations , and that the distribution of jabs among states should be based on a "transparent formula".
