Negative RT-PCR report mandatory for people arriving in Maharashtra

ccording to the tweet by ANI,  Maharashtra government on Sunday declared 6 states including Delhi NCR, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Goa, Kerala and Uttarakhand as the palaces of "Sensitive origin " that may lead to the higher potentiality of spreading Covid-19. According to the guidelines, if passengers are not carrying a Negative RT-PCR report they will have to undergo a Rapid antigen test at the station. All passengers shall be compulsorily screened and only asymptomatic passengers shall be allowed to board the train for Maharashtra. Social distancing should be ensured during boarding /deboarding and travel, said the guidelines.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra recorded 68,631 new Covid-19 cases. The total number of active cases in Maharashtra is 6,70,388 out of which Mumbai has 87,698 active cases.
