Delhi: 44 oxygen plants to be set up in Delhi in next month, says Arvind Kejriwal

ise in Covid-19 cases has allegedly created a shortage of beds and oxygen has created havoc among the people of Delhi. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday said that 44 Oxygen plants will be set up in the National capital in the next  one month. He said that there is a dearth of tankers and 18 tankers are being imported from Bangkok to normalize the situation. Whereas 8 plants will be set up by the Centre and 36 will be set up by the Delhi Government.  Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, said that "The oxygen crisis witnessed in Delhi last week has been controlled to an extent, the situation has improved significantly".

According to an official statement, the first Oxygen Express Train carrying around 70 tonnes of medical oxygen reached Delhi, early this morning.
