ccording to an official statement, Sunita has tested positive for coronavirus and is being treated under home isolation, The Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has also isolated himself. Yesterday, Delhi CM, Arvind Kejriwal had imposed a six-day lockdown in the Capital. He also appealed to people to stay at home during these six days.CM also said that the lockdown was essential as the city has been witnessing a massive surge in Covid-19 cases and the health system might Crumble in the coming days. 

Back in June 2020,  Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had also tested positive for Covid-19 infection after he developed a fever and sore throat. However, he tested negative for the infection. Delhi on Monday registered 23,686 new Covid-19 cases and 76,887 are the active caseload and on Monday Delhi registered its highest single-day tally of Covid-19 deaths with 240 fatalities in the last 24 hours.
