ugitive Nirav Modi has filed an appeal in the London High Court to challenge his extradition to India. The British Home Minister Priti Patel had approved to extradite the fugitive businessman to India last month but Nirav Modi is scared due to fear of extraditing India.

The countdown has started for fugitive diamond trader Nirav Modi coming to India, accused of a Rs 12000 crore scam. Fugitive diamond trader Nirav Modi will be brought to India soon. The home department of England has allowed the extradition. It should be noted that a London court issued orders on February 25 to extradite Nirav Modi to India. Nirav Modi had to file an appeal against this decision before the High Court within 14 days, otherwise he would be sent to India. Nirav Modi has appealed in the London High Court regarding this.

The Administrative Court of the London High Court on Friday said that Nirav Modi's application has been received on 28 April, it has appealed against the judgments of Judge Goji and Patel. At the same moment, it has been told about this appeal that a judge will decide whether to permit the appeal to be heard. This may take several months. If the judge refuses to approve the appeal, Nirav may hold an oral hearing to argue why he should be permitted.
