elhi government on Friday announced they will conduct a vaccination drive for all the media persons, the vaccination drive will take place at media houses and the government will be paying for this drive. Firstly, the government will seek the details of each media person with the working company further getting all the respective information, the health department will do their duty, in getting people vaccinated.

In the last 24 hours, according to Delhi government health bulletin site, 1,14,657 were vaccinated but only 80,306  received their first dose.

As the Press Council of India has urged to the state and central government that “Journalist” should be also included in the “Covid Warrior” category and should be given indemnity. Moreover in the statement of the print media guard dog has complimented the governments of Odisha, Bihar, and Madhya Pradesh who have reflected journalists among who “Consider working as a frolic person working hard in the current epidemic, they also have increased their salaries to help them out.

In addition, the UP government has also been speaking on may 5 all the journalists and their families would be getting vaccinated against Covid 19.
