he BMC or Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has accused actor Sonu Sood of converting a residential area in Mumbai’s upscale Juhu into a hotel illegally, a police complaint has also been files by the BMC regarding this. The six storey building was also offered for quarantine by the actor to the medical professionals at the time of the beginning of the lock down last year.
The police said following the complaint by the BMC they will investigate the case and will further take all necessary steps. The actor’s comment on the allegation is yet awaited. A leader from the BJP Ram Kadam has alleged that BMC and the government of Maharashtra are targeting actor Sonu Sood even after the nation witnessed the humanitarian work the actor did during the pandemic lockdown after they targeted Kangana Ranaut by trying to demolish her office space by calling its construction ‘unauthorized.’
Hailed as a hero the 47 year old actor was widely praised for his humanitarian work during the nationwide lockdown due to the pandemic and he later received several awards by various organizations for his works. To help the people he also launched a toll free number so that the needy could call for help and assistance.
