P Government has brought Journalists on the limelight as frontline workers and have announced that a special Centre for free vaccination for working Journalists and their families. He also instructed that media persons should be given priority in vaccination. He talked about a separate Centre to be made and vaccination should be allocated to journalists. 

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, talked about the safety of the media workers and said that media workers and there have also come under the grip of fast-growing coronavirus infection in Uttar Pradesh . A large number of Media persons are still infected with the virus, 16 Journalists have lost their life due to Covid-19. It's worth noting that at present, those above the age of 18 will be vaccinated in 10 districts of Uttar Pradesh. 

Journalists have been working incessantly and covering all the Covid-19 stories while covering many who have got contracted the virus and lost lives during this phase. Meanwhile, coronavirus cases are gradually increasing and this has created an alarming situation in the country, where many states have also imposed full lockdown.
