hief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday announced a week-long lockdown and named it "Swasthya Surkaksha Saptah" in a bid to break the chain of Covid-19. He also said that it has become very necessary to break the chain of Soaring infection of Coronavirus in the state. So, we have taken some important decisions in this regard. I hope this will be successful to break the chain of the virus through 'Swasthya Suraksha Saptah'

All the essential services will be in a routine. whereas the effect will come from 6 am till 6 am on 29 th April and all the religious places will remain open but the gathering of devotees is not permitted. While all mining, agricultural and construction activities are allowed said the Jharkhand Government. According to the health department, it said that Jharkhand's Covid-19 death toll rose to 1,547 after 45 more people succumbed to the disease in 24 hours, while 4,969 are fresh new cases and the total tally is 1,72,315. The new Coronavirus cases included 1,703 from Ranchi and 692 from east Singhbhum District .
