eputy Chief Minister, Manish Sisodia  said that Delhi's oxygen demand has reduced and can give its surplus oxygen to other states that need it. "The oxygen demand has come down and hospital beds are getting free. At that time (15days ago), we needed 700MT oxygen, according to the beds…..Delhi's oxygen demand has come down to 582 MT per day." He further added that "we have written a letter to the central Government and have said our work will be done with 582 MT of Oxygen per day and they can give surplus oxygen from Delhi's quota to other states."

He thanked the Centre and Delhi High Court for coming to the aid of the people of Delhi when the situation was out of control, where people were seen gasping for oxygen and rushing to the hospital for beds and emergencies. Whereas he also said that Delhi logged 10,400 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate has gone down to 14 per cent.
