ormer athlete Milkha Singh, contracted Covid-19 on Thursday. He is 91 years old man and also taking precaution by isolating himself at his residence in Sector 8, Chandigarh.Though his condition is stated to be stable, the veteran Olympian is learnt to be high temperature 101 fever since Wednesday night.

His son who is an Indian golfer, Jeev Milkha Singh, stated that “He is fine and in good spirits. God willing, he will pull through. I’m out of the country but returning on Saturday.” Jeev, who had gone to Dubai to compete in a tournament, thanked everyone on social media and wrote all for their good wishes and that his father was receiving wonderful care from his fans.

The complete family has tested negative a few days ago after one of their staff members who has tested positive. While Milkha also was found positive, but his wife, daughter-in-law Kudrat and 11-year-old grandson Harjai Singh tested negative.
