he International Cricket Council (ICC) and the Commonwealth Games Federation (GCF) announced Monday India, Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, a country from the Caribbean region and hosts England in an eight-team qualified women’s T20 as a result of their standing in the MRF Tyres ICC Women’s team ranking on 1 April 2021, Commonwealth Games 2022 to be held in Edgbaston cricket ground in Birmingham between July 28 and August 8, 2022. Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games will be the first upcoming event in the historical event to confer on more medals compared to women than men. Moreover , in coming year in Birmingham commonwealth we will be witnessing 4,500 athletes from 72 nations and territories compete across 11 spectacular days of the sport.

The Women’s cricket featured in the game for the first time in 22 editions before it was only the men’s ODI competition in Kuala Lumpur in 1998 when South Africa won. Furthermore, Being chosen for the Commonwealth Games is a joyous ephemeral for the Indian nation, Seeing this India captain Harmanpreet Kaur says, It’s great to be confirmed a place in the Commonwealth Games.
