he second richest man and the chief of the infrastructure-to-renewable energy conglomerate Gautam Adani has edged past Chinese tycoon Zhong Shanshan to become the second-richest Asian, as per the Bloomberg Billionaire data, as the stock prices of his listed companies is on a all time high.

Meanwhile, China’s Zhong was the richest person in the Asia till February this year when he lost the crown to Mukesh Ambani who is India’s richest person as well as chairman of Reliance Industries Ltd. As per the Index, while Ambani lost nearly $175.5 million this year, Adani’s wealth surged by the $32.7 billion to touch the sum of $66.5 billion, over the Zhong’s $63.6 billion. Mr. Ambani total wealth now reached at about $76.5 billion.

Yesterday, Mr. Adani went past Zhong Shanshan, the head of a China-based beverages-to-pharma conglomerate. As per the Globally index,Adani is at the 14th place while Ambani is the 13th rank in the list of richest man.
