hhattisgarh has become the hotbed for Covid-19 infection, whereas an appealing incident is taking place where a garbage van is being used to carry dead bodies of Covid-19 patients in Chhattisgarh's Rajnandgaon. Sanitation workers were seen dumping the bodies of infected patients in a garbage van to ferry them to the Cremation ground.

According to the report by NDTV, it said that the main Government hospital in Raipur has been facing a paucity of beds, intensive care units(ICU) and its oxygen equipped beds have been at a 100 per cent occupancy for the past week.

Last week, a video clip went viral over social media which showcased that the bodies of infected patients were lying around anywhere in the premises of the Raipur government hospital instead of being kept in the freezers according to the procedure.

Cases in Chhattisgarh has been incessantly increasing. Meanwhile, Rajnandgaon's press club has converted its premises into a Covid-19 care centre where asymptomatic patients are being treated at free of cost. 30 beds have been added in the hospital, a team of medical staff has been working and more medical assistance will be required for upcoming days.

Chhattisgarh on Wednesday reported 14,250 new cases and 120 deaths.
