fter the latest information which flashed over social media as well as news channels that plasma therapy will no longer be counted in Covid-19 treatment, SS Rana from Ganga Ram Hospital said that Remdesivir may also be dropped soon from Covid-19 treatment.

According to the statement given by Dr Rana, there is no evidence of its effectiveness in treating Covid-19 patients. The move has come after the use of Plasma therapy which has been dropped from recommended treatment protocol. He further added and told ANI that, "In plasma therapy, we give a pre forwarded antibody to someone who has been infected before so that the antibody can fight with the virus. Antibody usually forms when the Coronavirus attacks." He also mentions that all experimental medicines, be plasma which is discontinued or remdesivir all of them may be dropped soon.

Meanwhile, Our country was seen searching constantly for these medicines, people were seen standing in a long queue to get Remdesivir, arrangement for plasma was rarely been done. Whereas India is witnessing a downfall in Cases Meanwhile cases in the National capital have touched below 5,000.
