The medical minister said that it is not possible before May 15 that the center has been asked to start giving vaccination to those above 18 years of age from May 1.

On the other hand, Rajasthan medical minister Raghu Sharma says that officials of the department have spoken to the Serum Institute in this regard, in which the institute has expressed its inability to provide the vaccine till May 1. He says that the Serum Institute has expressed doubt about the completion of the commitment of supply to the Central Government by 15 May. In such a situation, vaccination of the age group of 18 to 45 is not possible from May 1.

The vaccine will be received from the center, then vaccination will be done from May 1, Medical Minister Raghu Sharma has told the media that the officers of the Department of Medicine are constantly in touch with the Serum Institute. 3.75 crore vaccine orders have been placed. They say that they are expected to get the vaccine only after May 15 from the Serum Institute. In such a situation, if the central government sends the vaccine, then only from May 1, vaccination can take place, otherwise it will take time. Experts here say that between the ongoing tussle between the Center and the state government, it may take up to six months for the vaccination of this age group in the state.
