minor teenage girl was arrested in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, for allegedly killing her parents. The girl killed her father who was a police constable, and her mother because they did not approve her relationship with her boyfriend, the boy is 22 year old, said by police.

DIG of Indore, Hari Narayan Mishra Chari said, "the minor daughter of the deceased couple has been arrested along with her boyfriend who who has been identified as Dhananjay from Ratlam." On Tuesday, December 15, 2020, the accused's father and mother were found murdered at their Rukmani Nagar residence under the Aerodrum police station, their body had multiple stab injuries. Police stated, the murder was first noticed by the victim's minor son who was staying with his grandparents in the adjoining house. He went to check on her mother, when he found his parents lying in a pool of blood. The deceased constable's father said to the police that in the mornings around 4:30 a.m., he had seen the accused walking with her dog but she didn't say anything to him.

In the initial investigation, the police suspected when they couldn't find the girl that the she was kidnapped. But later, police suspected her as the culprit, when they recovered a note written by her, in which there were several allegations against the victims. Police said that few days back, the deceased constable had found about his minor daughter's relationship with a 22 year old boy. The deceased couple has stopped talking to the girl when the found about the relationship, said by the accused's grandparents. During the investigation police found that the murder was planned and executed by Dhananjay, the girl was an accomplice in that crime.

The girl took out the pet dog for a walk from her house at around 4:30 a.m. because the two accused suspected that the dog could alarm the neighbours during that crime. The deceased couple was attacked in sleep by Dhananjay, police said. A case has been registered under IPC Section 302 for murder and further proceedings are underway.
