Prime Minister Launches A New Energy Plant In Kutch

oday Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated his new mega energy projects in Kutch and stated that it is one of the fastest developing states, it has taken a big step towards new-age technology and economy for our country. "Today Kutch has taken a big step towards new-age technology and new-age economy” stated PM Modi addressing the public in context of the new project.

This is a new technology advance project in the country which increase the growth of India as well as our economy, it includes a desalination plant, a hybrid renewable energy park, a fully automated milk processing as well as packing plant, the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) stated in a statement on Sunday. Gujarat is taking a significant step with the help of government towards transforming seawater into drinking water with the upcoming desalination plant at Mandvi in Kutch with the help of government initiative. With a 10 crore litre per day (100 MLD) capacity, the plant will strengthen Gujarat's water security by link to the Narmada Grid, the Sauni network and the treated waste water infrastructure.

It will be an important milestone for affordable water resource harvesting in the country and for survive by the people which is sustainable also, he stated that, he noticed approx 8 lakh people across the regions of Mundra, Lakhpat, Abdasa and Nakhatrana Talukas will receive desalinated water from the plant, which will also help for their health, cleanliness, no water pollution, and share the surplus to the districts of Bhachau, Rapar and Gandhidham take a benefit of this plant which  was provided by the Government in December 2020.
