n incessant rise in Covid-19 cases have made the situation pathetic. Meanwhile, school and college exams are getting postponed. The Uttar Pradesh State Government has decided to postpone UP board exams 2021 for class 10 and 12.This decision came after the CBSE Board exam has cancelled class 10 exams and postponed the exam for class 12.
The new dates for the UP board exam will be out in May. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that the classes for standard 1 to 12 will remain closed till 15th May.
On Tuesday India recorded the highest ever one day spike with over 1.8 Lakh Covid-19 cases and 1,027 deaths. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Uttar Pradesh reported 18,021 new Covid-19 cases and 85 deaths.
According to the bulletin, Around 5,433 cases were reported from Lucknow, 1,702 from Allahabad,1,585 cases from Varanasi and 591 cases from Gorakhpur. Whereas Lucknow witnessed 14 deaths,10 deaths in Allahabad,4 in Moradabad and 3 each in Varanasi, Kannauj and Kanpur.
