qbal Singh, the other accused of the January 26 violence case was arrested from Hosiarpur, Punjab today on Tuesday night by a team of Special Cell, informed the Delhi Police. The Northern Range of the Special Cell had made the arrests and an amount of 50000 rupees was announced as a reward on his arrest.

A day after the actor turned activist Deep Sidhu was arrested for his alleged involvement in the Republic Day violence case in Delhi cane the arrest of Iqbal Singh. On Tuesday Deep Sidhu was sent for 7 day police custody.

According to the police Sidhu had instigated the mob to deviate from the assigned routes and to break the police barricades with tractors. There is video evidence which shows Sidhu entering Red Fort with supporters carrying lathis and flags, police said to the court and also added that Sidhu was on the rampart where the flag was unfurled. Sukhdev Singh another accused of the R-Day violence case was on Sunday arrested by the Delhi Police Crime Branch and an amount of 50000 rupees was also announced as a reward in his name.
