Karnataka CM's son break allegedly breaks Covid norms

mid the Covid-19 lockdown where restrictions have been imposed on everyone meanwhile, people called to the VIP treatment meted out to Karnataka's Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa's son BY Vijayendra. Vijayendra allegedly violated Covid restrictions and visited the Srikanteshwara temple in Nanjangud during Covid-19 lockdown, with his wife.

The Covid-19 lockdown restrictions in Karnataka only allow interstate travel for essential services, whereas places for worship are closed to decrease the Covid-19 situation in the Country.

According to the statement given by the Chief Minister, the second wave of Covid-19 is creating havoc across the state as the corona curfew imposed in the state has not yielded the expected result in reducing the infection and death rate. He also said that restrictions will be imposed in the entire state from 6 am of May 10 to 6 an of May 24. He also mentioned that all shops and commercial establishments, hotels, pubs and bars will be closed during this period. Karnataka has not received its desired results after imposing a lockdown. The experts in the Government formed Technical Advisory Committee on Covid had recommended lockdown like measure for two weeks to bring down cases and also minimize the stress on the health infrastructure and Covid-19 warriors.
