Disha Ravi sent to police custody

he 22-year-old climate activist Disha Ravi who was arrested earlier this month over the ‘Toolkit’ case has been sent to one day police custody by the Delhi Court where she was produced after being arrested in Bengaluru. Last week the Delhi Court had reserved an order on her bail request.

Disha Ravi along with activist Nikita Jacob and Shantanu Muluk was accused by the Delhi Police of collaborating with a pro-Khalistani group Poetic Justice Foundation for creating the toolkit and creating dissatisfaction against the government. The Delhi police have also accused the three of trying to revive a pro-Khalistan group. Ms Ravi had been arrested in the case while warrants against the other two have been issued last week by the Delhi Police but by way of anticipatory bill the later received protection from arrests.
