CBSE launches 'Dost for life' counseling app for classes 9 to 12

he Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched a counseling app for students from class 9 to 12. The name of the counseling app is 'CBSE Dost for Life'. Through this, the mental health of the students has to be taken care of. Along with this, students will also be advised for further careers after 12th. The CBSE board will start its annual counseling program on 10 May 2021 through this app.

Through this counseling app of CBSE, the counseling session will be made available to the students for how to overcome the stress of the examination. Expert advice will also be given there. Apart from this, advice will also be given regarding which course students can choose after 12th. At the same time, tips will also be given to keep the mental health of the students. Apart from this, Corona-related safety protocols and audio-visual messages have also been released in this counseling app.

CBSE will conduct live counseling sessions by experienced counselors and principals. No fees will also be charged from students for this. This session will be held three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The time slot will be from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm or 1.30 pm. At the same time, a slot will start at 5.30 pm. Students and parents can connect to this app through chat box as per their convenience.
